How Real X Works
The Real X box operates with three layers running simultaneously. Understanding these layers helps you navigate the system confidently.
2.1 The Three Layers Explained

2.2 What Happens When You Turn On the Device
- Power ON the box
- Android TV OS loads in the background
- Real X launches automatically as the default interface
- You see the IPTV home screen immediately
- Android continues running underneath

Installation & Setup
3.1 What Is in the Box

3.3 Step-by-Step Setup
Step 1: Connect to TV
- Plug the HDMI cable into the HDMI port on the back of the Real X box
- Plug the other end into an HDMI port on your TV
- Switch your TV input to the correct HDMI channel
Step 2: Connect to the Internet
- For best results: connect the Ethernet cable from your router to the LAN port on the box
- For WiFi: Go to Settings inside Android (Apps button > Settings > Network & Internet)
Step 3: Power On
- Connect the power adapter to the DC 5V port
- Plug into a wall socket and switch on
- The Real X interface will load automatically
Step 4: Pair the Remote
- The remote pairs via Bluetooth automatically on first use
- If it does not respond, hold the Home and Back buttons together for 3 seconds
- In IR mode, point the remote directly at the box
Step 5: Enter Your Subscription Details
- From the Real X home screen, go to Settings
- Select About to view your Device ID and Account ID
- Contact your dealer with your Service ID, Username, and Password to activate
- Once activated, channels and VOD will load
3.4 Installing the Real 2X Mobile App
- On your Android phone, open a browser and go to realtv.co
- Download the APK file
- Go to Settings on your phone > Allow installation from unknown sources
- Open the downloaded APK and install
- Open the app, choose your language
- Enter your Service ID, Username, and Password
- Select or create a profile and start watching
How to Use Real X
4.1 Live Television
From the Real X home screen, select Television from the left menu. Scroll through the channel list and press OK to watch any channel. Channels are organised by category: Indian, Sports, News, International, Regional.
4.2 TV Guide
Select TV Guide from the left menu to see what is on now and what is coming up. It shows the channel name, programme title, start time, and end time.
4.3 Video on Demand (VOD)
Select Video on Demand from the left menu. You will find three sections:

4.4 Catch-Up TV
Catch-Up TV lets you go back and watch programmes that already aired. Select Catch Up TV from the left menu, choose a channel, and browse recent broadcasts.

4.6 Using Real X2 (Advanced)
To open Real X2, select it from the Real X left menu or press Apps on the remote and select the Real X2 app. Real X2 includes all features of Real X plus:
- Radio — live radio stations
- Recordings — record live TV to watch later
- Recharge — add credit directly in the app
- Music on Demand
- Advanced player with more options

Real X works on a subscription basis. You will need a Service ID, Username, and Password provided by your dealer.
