Downloading and Setting up the Real 2X app
Hereâs how to get the Real 2X mobile app up and running on your Android phone.
1. Open the Website
Grab your Android smartphone and open your browser. Head over to: https://realtv.co/
2. Find the Download Option
Look for the three-line menu (â°) up top. Tap it, pick Download App, then hit Android.
3. Download the AppÂ
Tap âDownload Real 2X App Now”. If your phone flashes a warning about the file, just ignore it and go ahead and choose “Download Anyway”.
4. Let Your Phone Install the App
If you get blocked from installing, youâll see a message about unknown apps. Tap Settings, turn on âAllow from this sourceâ for your browser, and head back.
5. InstallÂ
Once the download finishes, tap Install. Wait a moment while your phone does its thing.
6. Pick Your Language
Open the Real X app. Choose your language.
7. Log In
The app will ask for your service ID number; just enter it and hit Submit. Your subscription connects right away; your username window will appear.
8. Set Up Your Profile
On the window asking for your username info on the real X app, type in your username and password, then hit “Sign In.” If you havenât logged in before, just ask your provider for your details.
In the “Profile” step, you can now select an already-existing profile or select “Add Profile” to create a new one.
9. Start WatchingÂ
Thatâs itâjump right in! Watch live TV or movies, or catch up on shows anytime, anywhere.
How to Recover Your Password on the Real TV App
If you forget your password while signing in, you can easily recover it from the login screen.
1. Enter Your Service ID
When you open the app, the Service Selection Screen appears if you are logged out of your Real TV account or when you set up the app for the first time.
- Enter your Service ID
- Tap Submit
This connects the app to your service provider.
2. Go to the Login Screen
After submitting the Service ID, the Authentication Window appears.
Here you will see:
- Username field
- Password field
- Forgot Your Password? option
Tap Forgot Your Password?
3. Choose a Password Recovery Method
A Forgot Password window will appear with the message:
âSelect a method to retrieve your password.â
You will see three options
- Receive SMS
- Receive Email
- Back
4. Receive Verification Code
Choose your preferred recovery method.
If you select SMS
- Your registered mobile number with Real TV will receive a verification code.
If you select Email
- The email address you registered with your Real TV account will receive a verification code.
5. Enter the Verification Code
- Enter the code received via SMS or Email.
- Follow the instructions to reset or recover your Real 2X app account password.
6. Log In Again
Once your password is recovered or reset:
- Return to the login screen
- Enter your username
- Enter your new password
- Tap ‘Sign In’.
