Complete Guide to Using the Real 2X App on Android Smartphone

Streaming apps often feel complicated at first. However, once the layout becomes familiar, navigation feels quite natural. The Real 2X app, available on Android, follows a clean structure where everything is placed in clear sections.

The existence of profile options in the Real 2X app keeps viewing habits separate, while the bottom menu makes it easy to move between live channels, movies, series, and schedules.

This detailed guide explains how each part of this easy and feature-rich app works on Android smart devices and how users can explore the available features.

Profile Selection Screen

Complete Guide to Using the Real 2X App on Android Smartpho

After signing in, the first screen that appears is the Profile Selection window. Profiles are helpful because they keep personal watch history, favorites, and recommendations separate.

On this screen, users can do two things:

  • Choose anexisting profile
  • Create a new profile using the “+” button

Families and friends often use different profiles so that each person gets different suggestions, and content can be tailored accordingly. Someone who likes documentaries may get very different suggestions than someone who likes comedy or sports.

Once a profile is selected, the main interface of the app opens.

Main Home Screen Layout

The Home screen (which can be accessed by selecting the Home button present at the bottom navigation bar) acts as the main discovery area. It highlights trending content but also suggests channels and movies worth exploring.

Top Section

At the top of the screen, two elements appear:

  • X logo
  • Search option

The search feature can also be accessed from the navigation bar, which means users are not restricted to the home page when looking for something specific.

Featured Banner Section

Just below the top section appears a large moving banner slider.

The banners slide left and right and usually showcase popular entertainment such as:

  • Comedy shows
  • Documentaries
  • Drama series

However, these banners are not the only way to discover content on Real 2 X app.

Content Rows

Scrolling slightly reveals several horizontal content rows.

Trending Series

This section highlights series that many viewers are currently watching.

Recommended Channels

These channels are suggested based on viewing habits. Additionally, they may include popular regional channels or frequently watched stations.

Latest Movies

Recently added films appear here. New titles are often placed at the beginning, yet older favorites may appear as well.

Together, these sections make the Home page feel lively and constantly updated.

Bottom Navigation Bar

At the bottom of the screen sits the main navigation bar. It allows quick movement between all major sections of the app.

The seven options appear from left to right:

  • Personal
  • Home (Already explained above)
  • Channels
  • Movies
  • Series
  • Catch-up TV
  • TV Guide

Personal Section (Present on the Bottom Navigation Bar)

Selecting Personal opens a side menu that contains several account-related options.

These include:

  • Profile
  • Settings
  • Message
  • Watchlist
  • Favorites
  • Logout

Each option controls a different aspect of the viewing experience.

Profile

At the top of the personal area appears the current profile name or icon.

Selecting it brings the user back to the profile selection window, where profiles can be changed, or a new one can be created. This is a particularly useful option for Real 2X customers since it allows multiple individuals to tailor their viewing experience.

Settings Section

Inside the Personal menu, the Settings option leads to another screen with several tabs at the top.

These tabs include:

  • About
  • Settings
  • Recharge
  • Devices
  • Updates

Each tab focuses on a different type of information or configuration explained below:.

About

The About section displays general account and device information. Although many users rarely check it, the information becomes useful during troubleshooting or support requests.

Typical details include the following:

  • Subscription status
  • Expiry date
  • Username
  • Device information
  • Unique ID
  • IP address
  • Core application details

  • Punjabi
  • Tamil
  • Telugu
  • Gujarati
  • Malayalam
  • Hindi
  • English

This preference helps highlight content that matches the user’s language interests.

Parental Control Code

Parents often prefer to restrict certain content. The parental control option allows them to set or change a security code.

The process usually involves three steps:

  • Enter the current code
  • Enter the new code
  • Submit the change

Recording Offset

Sometimes live broadcasts start slightly earlier or finish a little later than scheduled. The recording offset option solves this problem.

Users can add extra time before and after recordings. Available choices usually include:

  • 2 minutes
  • 5 minutes
  • 7 minutes
  • 10 minutes
  • 12 minutes
  • 15 minutes

The interface language can also be changed. Currently, the app supports the following language options:

  • English
  • Hindi
  • Punjabi

Switching the language immediately updates menus and labels throughout the app.

Clock Format

Users may choose between:

  • AM / PM format
  • 24-hour format

While this setting seems small, it helps people follow schedules in the format they are most comfortable with.

The Message section contains system notifications.

Messages may include:

  • Subscription reminders
  • Announcements about new content
  • Promotional updates or special actions

Users can read these messages anytime.

Watchlist

The Watchlist builds automatically. As viewers start watching movies or shows, the system gradually collects them here.

It becomes a convenient place to continue unfinished watched content without searching again.

Favorites

Favorites work slightly differently. Unlike the watchlist, users add items manually.

When you tap the heart symbol on the details page and players while watching a video or looking at content, it saves the item to your favorites list. Real 2X app customers can use favourites as a way to keep track of movies or shows they want to watch later.

Channels Button (Present on the Bottom Navigation Bar)

Selecting Channels (placed besides the Home option) in the navigation bar at the bottom opens the live television browser.

At first glance the page looks simple, yet it includes several useful controls.

Channel Filters Toggles

Users can sort channels in two ways using toggles:

  • Alphabetically (ABC)
  • Numerically (123)

Sorting makes browsing faster, particularly when hundreds of channels are available.

Display Toggles

The layout can also change between two viewing modes by using the toggle button at the top inside Channels.

Mini View Many channel names (higher in numbers) appear at once, which is helpful for quick scanning.

Full View Different channel names appear larger; however, fewer names appear than in “Mini View” are visible on the screen.

Channel Search

A search bar appears above the channel list. Typing a channel name immediately filters the results. This becomes useful when someone already knows the channel they want.

Channel List

All channels appear in a scrollable list, and this is a straightforward and easy design used in the Real 2X app. It works well because viewers often prefer quick access rather than complicated menus.

Movies Button (Present on the Bottom Navigation Bar)

The Movies section focuses on film content.

At the top appears a search field where users can type the name of a movie, and results appear instantly below when using the Real 2X app.

Series Options (Present on the Bottom Navigation Bar

The Series area organizes shows differently.

A search box appears at the top, yet below it are several category cards.

Examples include:

  • Punjabi series
  • Gujarati series
  • Marathi series
  • Hindi series

When you choose a category, a list of shows in that language or group opens up. This makes it easier to browse, especially for people who like content from their own area.

Catch-up TV (Present on the Bottom Navigation Bar)

The Catch-up TV feature lets people watch shows that have already aired

At the top, there are two choices:

Date selection

Users can change the date to view previous broadcasts.

Choosing a channel

You can choose a channel to watch shows as per your preferences using Catch-up TV on Real 2 X app. After you pick the date and channel, old shows will show up on the screen. People can just pick a show and start watching.

This feature is especially helpful for people who miss live shows.

TV Guide (Present on the Bottom Navigation Bar)

The TV Guide acts as a schedule planner for television programming.

Date Selection

At the top of the screen, users can choose a date. The guide typically displays several days before and after the current date.

For example, it may show schedules from 5 March to 17 March.

Channel Categories

Next comes the category filter. Instead of browsing every channel, users can narrow the list using categories such as:

  • All Channels
  • Favorites
  • Drama
  • Movies
  • Kids
  • Music
  • News
  • Documentaries
  • Sports
  • Comedy
  • Religious
  • Food
  • General entertainment
  • Educational

Channel Selection

Once a category is chosen, the guide displays channels belonging to that category.

For instance, selecting the ‘Sports‘ category may reveal channels like:

  • Star Sports 1
  • Star Sports 2
  • Live Kabaddi, etc.

Clicking on a channel reveals its schedule for the selected date.
