Connecting Your Real TV Box to the Internet
The following steps will help you connect your Real TV Box to the internet.
When You Are Setting Up the Real TV for the First Time
Power Everything Up
First, plug the power cord into your Real X Box and connect it to a wall outlet. Switch it on, and turn on your TV or monitor.
After powering on the device, the system will guide you through the setup:
- Pair the remoteÂ
- Select Language and Display Settings
- Choose Time Zone and CountryÂ
The system will then move to the most important step — connecting to the internet.
Configuring Internet Connection
The Real X Box must be connected to the internet to access channels, apps, and streaming services.
You can connect in two ways:
Connect via Wi-Fi
- Select your network from the listÂ
- Enter the password using the on-screen keyboardÂ
- The device will connect automaticallyÂ
Connect via LAN Cable
- Plug the Ethernet cable into the LAN port at the back of the boxÂ
- Connect it directly to your routerÂ
- A “Connected” pop-up will appear
If Your Device Is Already Set Up
If the installation is already complete:
- Turn on your TVÂ
- Select your profileÂ
- You will reach the home screen (Real X or X Player)Â
Connect to Internet from Settings
From the home screen:
- Press the “Apps” button on your remoteÂ
- Open SettingsÂ
- Select Network and InternetÂ
Wi-Fi Connection
- Select Wi-FiÂ
- Choose your networkÂ
- Enter the passwordÂ
- The device will connect automaticallyÂ
LAN Cable Connection
- Plug the Ethernet cable into the LAN port (situated between the HDMI and Optical ports)Â
- Connect it to your router
- Once connected, you will see a “Connected” message. If there is an issue, a “Disconnected” message will appear.
