Box Not Working

If your box freezes at the logo or does not start, follow these steps to bring it back to normal:
  1. Switch off the Real TV box from the power socket
  2. Wait for 10-15 seconds
  3. Turn the power back on
  4. Check the HDMI connection on both sides
  5. Try a different HDMI port on your TV
  6. Restart your Wi-Fi router
  7. Keep the box powered on for 2-3 minutes to load fully
Real TV Box Troubleshooting

Channels Not Loading

When channels don’t load, the issue is usually network or temporary app freeze. Follow these steps:
  1. Return to the Home screen
  2. Close the Live TV section.
  3. Reopen the Live TV section
  4. Restart your router
  5. Check if other apps are working.
  6. Switch to another channel category
  7. Try using a LAN cable instead of Wi-Fi.

No Sound / No Video

If audio or visuals disappear, use these quick checks:
  1. Increase the TV volume. 
  2. Disable mute on your TV or remote
  3. Change HDMI input and return
  4. Restart the Real TV box
  5. Test another channel
  6. Check audio settings inside Real TV
  7. Use a different HDMI cable if needed

Remote Not Working

If the remote stops responding follow the steps below;
  1. Replace the remote batteries
  2. Clean the battery contacts
  3. Point the remote directly at the box
  4. Reduce distance between remote and box
  5. Try using the IR sensor directly
  6. Restart the Real TV box
  7. Test remote buttons one by one

App Crashing or Freezing

If the app stops working or freezes mid way use these steps:
  1. Go back to the home screen
  2. Close all running apps
  3. Reopen the Real TV app
  4. Restart the device
  5. Clear the cache from App settings
  6. Update your Real TV software
  7. Ensure uninterrupted internet connection

Buffering / Slow Playback

If videos load slowly, follow these network focused steps:
  1. Restart your Wi-Fi router 
  2. Move the Real TV closer to the router
  3. Switch from Wi-Fi to LAN cable
  4. Close all background apps
  5. Check internet speed on another device
  6. Switch to a lower channel resolution
  7. Disconnect other devices using bandwidth

Wi-Fi Not connecting

If Wi-Fi refuses to connect, try these quick fixes:
  1. Open Wi-Fi settings 
  2. Forget the connected network
  3. Re-enter Wi-Fi password
  4. Restart the router
  5. Restart the Real TV box
  6. Try connecting to a hotspot
  7. Use a LAN cable if Wi-Fi remains unstable.

Reset Real TV Box (Soft & Hard Reset)

Use a reset when the device becomes slow or unresponsive.
Soft Reset
  1. Press and hold the power button on remote.
  2. Select Restart
  3. Wait for the box to reboot
Hard Reset
  1. Go to settings
  2. Open device preferences
  3. Select reset options
  4. Tap factory reset
  5. Confirm formatting
  6. Allow the device to reboot
Clear Cache
If apps are lagging. Clearing cache helps instantly.
  1. Open settings
  2. Go to apps
  3. Select Real TV app
  4. Tap clear cache
  5. Restart the box
Internet Speed Required
For smooth viewing, these speed levels work best:
  1. Minimum 10 Mbps for SD channels
  2. Minimum 20 Mbps for HD channels
  3. LAN cable recommended for stable speed.

Troubleshooting: No Signal / Slow Internet

No Signal
  1. Check HDMI cable on both ends
  2. Try another HDMI port on TV
  3. Change TV input to the correct HDMI source
  4. Restart the Real TV box.
  5. Restart the TV
Slow internet/Buffering
  1. Restart your router 
  2. Move the Real TV box closer to the router
  3. Switch from Wi-Fi to LAN Cable
  4. Close unnecessary background apps
  5. Test internet speed on another device
