Unboxing Guide

When you unbox your Real TV set top box, you receive everything needed for a smooth setup. Inside the package, you will find:
  1. Real TV set top Box 
  2. Remote Control 
  3. HDMI Cable 
  4. Power Adapter
  5. User Manual 
  6. Optional AV Cable  
A complete video will walk you through what each item does and how to use it.

How to connect Real TV Box to your TV

  1. Plug the power adapter into the Real TV Box. 
  2. Connect the HDMI cable to your TV’s HDMI port. 
  3. For older TV’s, use the AV cable instead of HDMI.
  4. Turn on the TV and select the correct input source.  
You will see the Real TV welcome screen once connected properly.

How to Connect to Wi-Fi or LAN Cable

A stable internet connection is essential for smooth streaming. You can connect your Real TV box either wirelessly (Wi-Fi) or with a wired connection (LAN).  Connecting via Wi-Fi
  1. Go to settings from the Real TV home screen. 
  2. Select Network settings and then WI-Fi.
  3. A list of available networks will appear. Choose your Wi-Fi network. 
  4. Enter your Wi-Fi password using the on screen keypad.
  5. Click connect and wait for the confirmation message.
Connecting via LAN Cable
  1. Plug one end of the LAN (Ethernet) cable into your router or modem.
  2. Insert the other end into the LAN port of your Real TV box.
  3. The connection will activate automatically without entering a password.
  4. LAN is highly recommended for HD or 8K streaming, ensuring zero buffering.

How to activate your Real TV Box

Once the device is connected to the internet, activation is the next step:
  1. Launch the Real TV App on your box.
  2. On the home screen, click Activate Device.
  3. Enter your activation code.
  4. Login using your registered email or mobile number.
  5. Enter your password or OTP to verify your account.
  6. After successful verification, your device will display “Activation Successful”.
A separate video guide will show each screen so customers can follow the activation flow easily.

First time User Guide: Home Screen Overview

After activation, users are taken to the Real TV Home Screen. This dashboard is designed to make navigation fast and intuitive. A Typical Real TV Home Screen includes:
  1. Live TV – Access to all language categories and channel lists.
  2. Movies / VOD Section – On demand films and entertainment.
  3. Catch Up TV – Watch missed shows.
  4. Favourites – Quick access to saved channels.
  5. Search Bar – Helps find channels, genres and shows instantly.
  6. Settings – Manage internet, account, updates and more, 
  7. Each section is labelled clearly to help new customers understand how to move between live channels, movies and other features. 

How to Log in / Create Account

Real TV requires customers to log in so their subscription, preferences and favourites can be saved securely.
To Log In
  1. Open the Real TV app
  2. Select Login
  3. Enter your registered email /phone number.
  4. Enter your password or OTP
  5. Click Sign In and wait for authentication
To Create a New Account
  1. Select Create Account on the login page.
  2. Choose whether to register using email or phone number.
  3. Enter your basic details – Name, Email, Password.
  4. Verify using OTP.
  5. Your new account will be created and linked to your Real TV box instantly.
This makes the onboarding process effortless even for first time users.
